The seemingly pointed and speedy execution of the process to send the “Office of Profit Bill” again to the President’s assent has clearly shown that this spineless ‘Congress et al’ government has nothing more than its own political interests as its priority.Instead of coming up with a comprehensive solution as suggested by Dr. Kalam, the government has decided to go ahead with the insta-fix that will ’save’ the heads of several MPs, including that of the speaker.
In my opinion, Dr.Kalam should resign his post instead of signing this bill and shame this government, if there is no other alternative given by the Supreme Court
