Loma harshanam

Loma Harshanam – It means “the hearing of which makes one’s hairs stand on end”.

And one such hearing I had today… the rendering of “Ksheera sagara sayana” in Devagandhari ragam by the unbeaten Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar. The place he goes in to a high with “taraka nama…” is simply, literally hair raising!
